I, Cassandra, being safely dead,
have seen the horseman
who ride to wed
I bless the ground,
receive my ashen bone
Down by the sea of Ilium.
Won't see me ride anymore
No thought of running away
Won't see me throughout…
I, a slave, received my labor's pay
I warned you when Priam's price was deed;
It's disingenuous to claim innocence now…
(beginning of a poem, in progress…)

@ rfhurleyI know what you mean about the writers block. I have only recently been able to start writing poetry again, but not my stories. I have been blocked since I was 15 and now I’m 44, so for me it has been 29 years. So I totally understand where you are coming from. Don’t give up.Now that a crack in the door has opened for me I am going to keep chipping away at the rusty hinges and maybe a flood will ensue. Take care. *Hugs* :heart:
Love you too, Donelaith
