She has a book out on the history of the town of Port Costa, California, scenically located on the Carquinez Strait where the Sacramento/San Joachin River delta connects to the San Francisco Bay.
…
She took all (or most) of the recent pictures of the town, which has quite an interesting (a bit sordid even!) history. She’s somewhat of a community elder there (and she’s going to absolutely kill me when she reads THIS…), having recently left the Historic Bull Valley Inn, where she was manager for… um… a few years.
Anyway, the promised Shameless Plug™:
You can purchase this fine bit of History from the publisher, Arcadia Press, from Amazon.com, or in most of your Finer Bookstores in the SF Bay Area!
